What Cannot Be Shipped With Truck Quote?

TQ can only give instant quotes for shipments that require either a flatbed or Van type trailer. Things that cannot be shipped with TQ include *but are not limited to:
automobiles, boats, chemicals, dangerous goods, explosives, firearms, garbage, glass, hazardous materials, household goods, Illegal goods, junk, livestock, or mobile homes. This also includes oversize or overweight loads requiring special highway permits and or escorts, Commodities of extraordinary value, or goods that require refrigeration. Can Truck Quote provide service for “less than truckloads”?

Yes. TQ can move loads from 4ft- 53ft, this includes less than truckloads and full truckloads.

How Do We Ensure The Quality Of Carriers Used On Your Shipment?

All carriers are screened and cleared from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration before booked on your shipment. TQ’s software monitors its carriers’ performance and safety to ensure every carrier in our network performs to the highest standards.

How are shipments insured?

TQ requires all carriers in our network to maintain a minimum of $1 million in automobile insurance and $100K in cargo insurance. Carriers must comply with all regulations and laws set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. TQ also carries contingent automobile insurance and cargo insurance to further protect your shipment. If your shipment requires insurance above $100k please contact customer support for a quote on additional insurance required for your load by emailing support@truckquote.com

Is There A Time Limit For Loading And Offloading A Carrier For The Shipment?

Yes. Included in your quoted price you have 3 hours to load the shipment on to the carrier and you have up to 3 hours to offload the carrier. Any additional waiting time will be billed at $75.00 per hour.

Can The Quoted Price Change After The Shipment Has Be Booked With Truck Quote?

Pricing will only increase after booking if something changes with the load or the carrier booked on the load has a waiting time over 3 hours at loading or offloading.

Who Supplies The Bill Of Lading?

The carrier will supply a BOL for your shipment. If you require to supply your own BOL please supply one to the driver when they arrive at the loading site.
